Shabbat w/ UMBC Hillel

Due to the complications of sourcing Kosher food for our community we will not be serving a full meal for upcoming Shabbat programming. Instead we will offer a traditional Shabbat gathering called an "Oneg Shabbat" in Hebrew. The Hebrew word "oneg" means joy and serves as a time for folks to come together and celebrate the Shabbat in community. We will begin our time together with a brief ritual and then enjoy a variety of kosher desserts and light nosh. This will take place during our originally scheduled day and time of Friday, 9/24 from 5-7 PM at our Sukkah on Erickson Field.
